Reading with the Girls
By Ms. Debby on September 10th, 2009Two Reading with the Girls discussion groups are continuing this fall in our youth department. Join the fun! Share the experience! It’s a night out with the girls and there is always dessert. Girls in 4th-5th and 6th-8th grades and a “girl” adult of their choice – mother, aunt, grandmother – will meet monthly through May to discuss one book per month. Registration is required for both groups.
Reading with the Girls for grades 4 to 5 begins on Wednesday, September 30th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Copies of the September book selection, The Lemonade War, are available at the youth desk.
Reading with the Girls for grades 6 to 8 starts on Wednesday, October 7th at 6:45 p.m. Copies of this group’s September selection, Shadow Spinner, are also available at the youth desk.
