Lenox Library Association Book Sale
The annual Book Sale is one of the community highlights during the summer season in Lenox. A vital fundraising event for the Library, the sale raised over $35,000 in 2016.
Your donations make the annual sale possible.
Our dedicated volunteers prepare for the sale throughout the year. You can drop off books on Thursdays between 10 and noon at 60 Hawthorne Street, Lenox on the campus of the Boston University Tanglewood Institute.
The sale offers thousands of books in more than 30 subject areas. In addition to books, we welcome donations of CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and artwork. (At this time, we cannot accept books in bad condition or with mold, ex-library books, encyclopedias, cassettes, record albums or VHS tapes).
If you would like more information about donating books or other items, please call Ilse Browner at 413-445-0704.
New volunteers are welcome! If you are interested in volunteering, call Maureen Hammel at 413-637-0704 or Nancy Cohen at 413-652-1327.
We look forward to seeing you at the sale!
Thank you to our 2016 volunteers
