Using the Library
The Lenox Library is pleased to offer you with an online reservation system that allows you to reserve a Museum Passes at any time of the day from any internet-connected computer. This reservation system is easy to use and has many features that will allow us to better serve you. All you need is your library card number and your personal pin. Please read our Museum Pass Policies and the FAQS to learn how to reserve your Museum Pass online!
FAQs
How long can I have a museum pass for?
A museum pass can be picked up on the date of reservation after 10:00am and must be returned by 5:00pm on the next day we are open. Museum passes MUST be returned at the Main Circulation desk and may not be placed in the book drop. See below for more museum pass policies.
How do I reserve my own Museum Pass?
Go to our website, lenoxlib.org, and click on “Reserve a Museum Pass” on the right-hand side of the page.
Find the day that you would like to reserve a pass by clicking on the date in the small calendar located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Next to the Museum Pass that you would like to reserve, click “Request Pass”.
Enter your Library Card number and Pin.
Continue the process being careful to follow the instructions.
What passes do you have?
The easiest and most up-to-date way to see what passes we have is to go to the Museum Pass Reservation screen (click on “Reserve a Museum Pass” from our homepage, lenoxlib.org) and take a look.
How will I know what the pass is good for? Will it admit my whole family?
Go to the Museum Pass Reservation screen (click on “Reserve a Museum Pass” from our homepage, lenoxlib.org) and click on the “Pass Details” to the right of the Museum Pass you are interested in. This will show you how many people the Pass admits and give you any special notes we have made for the pass.
Museum Pass Policies
Reservation limitations:
Passes can only be reserved and checked out to patrons with a C/W Mars registration in good standing. This means that the patron cannot have fines in excess of $10.00 and cannot have any billed items. Patrons may check out one pass per day per card. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance.
Checking out the Museum Pass:
The Museum Passes may be checked out after 10am on the day of reservation and must be returned before 5pm on the next day we are open. Passes MUST be returned at the Main Circulation desk and MAY NOT be placed in the Book Drop.
Renewals and Late Fees:
Passes are not renewable. The fines for late returns are $5.00 per day per pass with a maximum of $15.00 per pass.
