The Lenox Library is pleased to offer an online reservation system that allows C/W MARS cardholders to reserve museum passes at any time of the day, up to 30 days in advance of their visit. This reservation system is easy to use and has many features that will allow us to better serve you. All you need is your library card number and your PIN.

FAQs

How do I reserve my own Museum Pass?

Click on “Reserve a Pass.”

Find the day that you would like to reserve a pass by clicking on the date in the small calendar located on the screen.

Next to the museum pass that you would like to reserve, click “Request Pass.”

Enter your library card number and PIN. (If you don’t remember your PIN, you may call us at 413-637-0197.)

Continue the process, being careful to follow the instructions and note any special provisions.

How long can I have a museum pass for?

Disposable/printed paper passes may be picked up in advance OR after 10:00 a.m. on the day of reservation; circulating/physical passes must be picked up after 10:00 a.m. on the day of reservation and returned by midnight the same day. Physical passes may be returned in their cases to the book drop. See below for more museum pass policies.

What passes do you have?

The easiest way to see what passes we currently offer is to go to the Museum Pass Reservation screen.

How will I know what the pass is good for? Will it admit my whole family?

Go to the Museum Pass Reservation screen and click on the name of the museum you are interested in visiting. This will show you how many people the pass admits, give you any special notes we have made for the pass, and provide a link to the museum’s website for additional information.

Visitation policies may vary and are subject to change; if you have any questions, please contact the venue directly.

At this time, many venues require or strongly recommend advance reservations; patrons are responsible for booking their own visits as required/recommended by the individual venues.

Museum Pass Policies

Reservation limitations:

Passes can only be reserved and checked out to C/W MARS cardholders with a registration in good standing. This means that the patron cannot have fines in excess of $10.00 and cannot have any billed items.

Patrons may check out one pass per day per card.  Limit one pass per family/household per day.

Patrons may only reserve a particular museum’s pass once during a 30 day period. For example, if you reserve the Berkshire Museum pass for June 30, you may not reserve it again until July 30.

Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance.

Checking out the Museum Pass:

Disposable/printed paper passes may be picked up in advance OR after 10:00 a.m. on the day of reservation; circulating/physical passes must be picked up after 10:00 a.m. on the day of reservation and returned by midnight the same day. Passes are available for pick up at and may be returned to the Information Desk located on the first floor of the Library. Physical passes also may be returned in their cases to the book drop.

Renewals and Late Fees:

Passes are not renewable. The fines for late returns are $5.00 per day per pass. The fee for a lost pass will be the full replacement cost of the pass (varies by institution).
