The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office and Berkshire County Kids Place have partnered to launch cyber safety programming in Berkshire County. Research shows that children are exposed to content and pressures online far earlier than caregivers realize. Children are not only faced with navigating online situations, but they also hear about them from friends and peers.
The 90-minute parent/caregiver workshop will provide an overview of cyber safety which will include information about inappropriate content children encounter online, red flags to be aware of, and how to access resources to address inappropriate content.
