On perhaps the hottest night of the year so far, about 200 people crowded into the Lenox Library to listen to live performances of music from the Miles Davis’ album “Kind of Blue” by local jazz artists. Organized by the irrepressible Jeremy Yudkin, the evening featured not only live jazz but also poetry and commentary – all inspired by the 50th anniversary of the release of the most successful and popular album in jazz history.
The entire program was free and open to the public. For more events at the Lenox Library, please keep looking at our online events calendar by following the link on our homepage at lenoxlib.org.
