Join Lenox Library, Lenox Community Center, and Elizabeth Freeman Center for family-friendly Rise Together Lenox on Thursday, September 18, 2025!

For our 5th annual walk, we’re upping our efforts to make the evening a true community event for all ages:

  • 4:00-5:30: Make hand kites and signs for the walk, and enjoy music by the Eagles Trombone Ensemble at the Library
  • 5:30: Walk begins in the Library’s Roche Reading Park
  • 6:00: Walk ends at the Community Center, followed by a community supper grilled up by Lenox Fire Company!

Every hour of every day, Elizabeth Freeman Center provides life-saving, life-renewing help to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families.  At Lenox Library, we adhere to the American Library Association’s Code of Ethics, which “affirm[s] the inherent dignity and rights of every person. We work to…advance racial and social justice in our libraries, communities, profession, and associations through awareness, advocacy, education, collaboration, services, and allocation of resources and spaces.”

Violence is a community problem and together we are part of a community movement to end domestic, sexual, and dating violence.  Whoever we are, however we look, wherever we go – we all deserve safety and justice.
