Barbara Shook Hazen, author of over 70 children’s books and former editor of Golden Books, will read two of her stories, Who is your favorite monster, Mama? and Tight Times – a Reading Rainbow selection that is as current as when it was first published. Several of her books, including The Please and Thank You Book and The Secret Life of Trees, will be available for purchase and signing. Partial proceeds will benefit our Youth Department. This program is FREE, open to the public, and appropriate for children ages 3 and up.
