High school students are invited to join Lenox Library for an exciting new program! Read for a Cause combines reading with making a difference in your community. Participants will meet to discuss what types of community issues (e.g., food insecurity, climate change, mental health, and child welfare) they would like to learn about, then read a book related to that topic. Books will be provided for free from the Library and available to keep! Participants then will have an opportunity to discuss the book as a group, meet with a local organization to learn more about their chosen topic, and work on a community service project.
Registration is required. Sign up here or visit the youth department or email Vanessa at vjustice@lenoxlib.org to register. Meeting days and times will be determined by the group during the first meeting on May 28, 2025; snacks will be provided.
