Are you interested in volunteering at Lenox Library and learning what goes into working as a librarian? Youth who are 10 years old and up, are eligible to apply for this fun program! Junior Librarians will learn about making book displays, shelving items, planning and hosting activities, searching the catalog, library issues like book banning, and deciding what items to buy!
Junior Librarians will be scheduled one shift a week on the same day and at the same time each week between the dates of July 7 and August 22, 2026 and be paired with another Junior Librarian when possible. There will also be a group training on Thursday, July 2, 2026 for those who can join.
Please pick up an application from Lenox Library. Fill it out and have a parent or guardian sign it. Return to Lenox Library youth librarian, Vanessa Justice at the youth desk by Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Email Vanessa with any questions at vjustice@lenoxlib.org.
