Friends of the Lenox Library Association

The Friends of the Lenox Library Association primary focus is to enhance and promote the Lenox Library’s role in the community by…

  • Raising funds for the Lenox Library to be used towards services, equipment and activities.
  • Sponsoring programs compatible with the Lenox Library’s cultural, educational and recreational role in the community.

In addition, as a committee of the Board of Trustees, the Friends will increase community involvement by having a “voice” on the Board.

The success of the Friends of the Lenox Library Association depends on a dedicated group of volunteers.  For more information or to become involve, please contact Rebecka McDougall at 637-2630 ext. 121 or by email rmcdougall@lenoxlib.org.

Library Volunteers

The Lenox Library volunteers are an essential part of the library.  Our dedicated volunteers assist our staff with the day-to-day operations of the library.

Help is needed with all kinds of tasks, some simple and some more technical, some helping with patrons and some behind the scenes.  Here are some examples:

  • Shelving materials
  • Preparing arts and crafts projects for the Youth Department
  • Setting up table displays
  • Copying
  • Data entry
  • Circulation assistance

Please complete a library volunteer application form.  We will match your abilities with our needs.

For more information or to become a volunteer, please contact Rebecka McDougall at 637-2630 ext. 121 or by email rmcdougall@lenoxlib.org.
