One of the nation’s finest puppet troupes, The Catskill Puppet Theater, will perform Hiawatha at the Lenox Library Association on Saturday, October 17 at 1:30 p.m. Seating is on a first come first served basis and is limited to the room’s capacity. Exquisitely crafted puppets, full sets and Native American music combine to create this enchanting story of Hiawatha, the great Iroquois hero. During a vision quest, Hiawatha discovers a magical world of talking animals and fantastic spirits. Hiawatha meets the wise Mohawk, Peacemaker, and with the aid of new friends discovers the path he must follow to become a great man. For further information, call Ms. Debby at 637-0197 ext. 105.
