We hope you will enjoy this selection of Christmas postcards from the Library’s Special Collections. Santa Claus appears frequently, as one might expect. However, the collection also includes many illustrations of snug woodland cottages in blankets of snow, juxtaposed with young ladies in summer wear (one is gathering roses!). Items from the 1910s, when these postcards were sent (one references President Theodore Roosevelt) are also pictured.
