Gnome Night at the Library!

Art by Robert J. Horvath

Gnorbitt the Reading Gnome is back from his adventures around town and ready to settle into his home at the Library before winter begins.  For his housewarming, Gnorbitt is inviting his gnome friends for a sleepover at the Library on November 20, 2020 – and we need your help!

Here’s what to do:

  • Pick up or print out this paper gnome from our website.
  • “Dress” your gnome in his favorite pjs – you can color, create clothes with paper or fabric, whatever you like. Make sure to write your name and an email address on the back of the gnome.  If your gnome has a name, tell us that, too!
  • Bring your gnome to the Library (or email a picture to info@lenoxlibrary.org) on Thursday, November 19.
  • We will read a story to and share our after-hours world with your gnome friends!
  • On Saturday morning, November 21, visit our website or Facebook to view photos of all the fun your gnome had at the Library.

Afterwards, the gnomes will take up residence in our youth department for the holiday season.

If you have any questions, please email info@lenoxlib.org or call 413-637-0197.
